Fruity Watergeus is a sparkling fruit beer made from one-year-old lambic, which has been brewed for another year on aromatic whole cherries and sour blackcurrants. Due to this maceration combined with a slow second fermentation of the whole unpressed fruits, very nice soft fruit flavors are released. After a third fermentation and further maturation in the bottle, a beer is created that tastes somewhere between traditional (old) Kriek beers and wine.
