For 11 generations, the Duhr family has been making wine in the little town of Ahn. After purchasing land with a wheat mill from a local baron in 1689, they began planting vineyards along the facing slope.

Looking out of the recently erected, glass-walled Tasting Room, you can see this same slope. now known as Ahn Palmberg.

While the little wheat mill stopped spinning in 1900, the 11th generation winemaking cousins Luc and Frank Duhr are dedicated to their family's history of innovation.

Clos Mon Vieux Moulin, also known as "Duhr Frères" was the first to vinify both Gewürztraminer and Pinot Noir in Luxembourg. Today, this same passion is most evident in their 11 Generations series.

In Luxembourg, it's common to release a year's wine at once and not to sell the next vintage until the previous one is sold. At Clos Mon Vieux Moulin, they often hold back vintages they believe will excel with a little more age and give it the special 11 Generations label.
