Maison Viticole Schmit-Fohl

Pinot Noir SF Wormer Waibour 2019

Elaborate Spice & Red Fruit

This top-of-the-range Pinot Noir comes from the hands of an 11th-generation winemaker in Luxembourg. Produced by carbonic maceration, a whole bunch fermentation process commonly associated with Beaujolais. Overflowing with fresh and fruity flavors (think juicy strawberry pie & bright cherry sorbet), topped off with hints of vanilla and spice. Youthful but sophisticated, best enjoyed slowly.

The origins of Maison Viticole Schmit-Fohl date back to 1792, precisely three years after the start of the French Revolution. Unlike France’s monarchy, however, the wine estate, now one of Luxembourg’s oldest, has continued into the 21st century. Learn more
