After the perfectly dry and hot summer of 2018, this Saint Laurent red wine made magic during a long fermentation in a Georgian qvevri in the Kox garden. Buried in the ground, the qvevri are protected from the cold winter months, allowing for a long fermentation that draws out the juicy notes in the wine.
Decidedly earthy, this wine needs a drinker who can appreciate its uniqueness.Â
Founded in 1977, this family winery located in the beautiful town of Remich is perhaps one of the most innovative producers in all of Luxembourg. Using Georgian kvevri, Luxembourgish oak, and experimenting with grape varieties in need of reinvention, they're paving their own path in the region.
